Stone from electro-waste

COLLABORATION: ORSKA JEWLERY

Crafting with artificial.

Plastic is a problematic material. Its amazing properties brought innovations, that helped with the world development. Because of its price and availability, we are currently overexploating this material bringing  damage to the environement. I've used electro - plastic waste that is difficult to process in regular recycling systems and combined it with  the waste from the jewellery workshop. Waste was transformed to mimics natural stone. In my process I was trying to avoid high energy and high heat usage. I've explored natural binders and resins to find the way of elevating the material.

The New Stone was framed and implemented by the Orska Jewelery Collection.

Plastic is precious material that can last more that 500 years and we should treat it with respect.

Collection won "Must Have" award during Lodz Design Festiwal in Poland in 2021
